we did it. man on a wire has been released to the world.

we have had such a wonderful few days. this feels so good. we are so proud to unveil man on a wire to you. we believe we have made a work of art. please enjoy it. think about it. dance to it. it is yours now.

thanks to all who have joined us in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Carrboro for our local release shows. thanks to Dark Water Rising, Annabelle's Curse, Gabriel David, Carrie Paz, Major and the Monbacks, Ameriglow, Cat's Cradle, Local Band Local Beer, The Carolina Theatre Greensboro, and The Pour House Raleigh. also a huge thanks to everyone who contributed to our indiegogo pre-sale. all told you have warmed our hearts and helped provide a foundation for our upcoming release tour. 20 days, 4000+ miles. if you are near (or know anyone around) Richmond VA, Shepherdstown WV, Bridgeport CT, Bennington VT, NYC, Philly PA, DC, Roanoke VA, Dahlonega GA, Athens GA, Columbus GA, Birmingham AL, Tuscaloosa AL, Atlanta GA, Charleston SC, Wilmington NC, Durham NC, or Beaufort NC please let them know we are coming. we put a few shots from Greensboro and Carrboro into a slideshow below, if you have any more (or videos) and would like to share with us please send them to thegrandshellgame at gmail dot com. it also helps a lot if you post them on facebook or other social media to tag us or hashtag it with #thegrandshellgame.

finally if anyone is looking for a music fix tonight, The Oblations (Joe and Dan) and e-s guthrie will be doing side-project sets tonight at The Cave in Chapel Hill along with Annabelle's Curse (who opened for us last night) and Porter & the Blue Bonnet Rattlesnakes. it's just $5 and music starts at 9pm, if you'd like to see some other sides of the parts that make up the shell game this would be a good one to check out!
