The Oblations album drops on 9/8!!!

we are so proud to announce some very special news pertaining to Dan and Joe, our monsters of melody on the keys and electric guitar. their band The Oblations will be releasing their sophomore full length on September 8th at Cat's Cradle. they have been playing together for well over a decade now (most of their lives, at this point), and this album has been in the works for almost five years. 

like most everything that comes from our camp, it is a quirky little jewel. it is also stunning. even more so to consider that the bulk of the recording was done live as a duo, with Joe on keys and drums and Dan on electric guitar. you really should see them live to get the whole gist of it, and you can on September 8th at Cat's Cradle for their release party. but if you can't make it there, be sure to check on iTunes or Spotify, or even your local record shop.  we'll remind you again when it comes out, but be on the lookout for it!

in news specific to the grand shell game, we are playing shows this weekend.
